Terms and Conditions

Article 1
The Amstelveen Lentemarathon is organized by SPINN SPORTS BV in Amstelveen.

Article 2
The registration fee for the pre-registrations, of both individual participants and relay teams, must be in the possession of the organization by March 16, 2024. The amounts to be paid by the individual participants are collected by means of IDEAL payment or/and by automatic collection.
– there is no refund of the registration fee.

Article 3
The relay teams of four runners use the same course of the marathon, with the runners covering from 8 till 13 km.

Article 4
The minimum age for participating in the marathon is 18 years. For the half marathon and the relay, that is 16 years. For the kids run it is 6 years.

Article 5
A participant is recognizable by his / her running clothes and the starting number.
The participants must wear the starting numbers on the chest, the starting number may not be folded to ensure the chip works properly.

Article 6
Every participant must run with a chip. This is a chip made available by the organization. This is processed by the organization in the starting bib.

Article 7
Participants are required to follow all instructions from the organization.

Article 8
The participants are required to be in the starting section at least five minutes before the start.

Article 9
The participants must adhere to the course indicated by the organization.

Article 10
The gross time and net time (in hh.mm.ss) are measured using a chip time registration system. The net time, is the run time, is the time between exceeding the start mat and exceeding the finish mat. The gross time is the time between the moment of the starting shot, for the relevant distance, and the crossing of the finish mat. The results, the order 1,2,3 and the prize winners in the categories, are based on the gross time.

Article 11
Participating in the Amstelveen Lentemarathon is at all distances, at your own risk and responsibility. The organization rejects any responsibility in the event of illness or accidents of participants or supervisors. The organization does not accept any liability with regard to any calamities.

Article 12
Following the course with cars, motorbikes and (mopeds) bicycles is not permitted.
An exception is made for guiding participants of the marathon on bicycles. It is allowed to guide the runner on the bike from the 5 kilometer point to 1 kilometer before the finish. No other participants may be hindered.
A supervisor guides a participant entirely at his own risk and responsibility.

Article 13
Participants and supervisors agree to the possible use of his / her image on television, websites, social media and the like for reports by a person or agency and for promotional purposes without claiming compensation.

The organization reserves the right to include your data in a file for invitations to further activities that it may organize in the future. If you object to this, you must make this known in writing by mail to: info@lentemarathon.nl

Article 14
Cancellation of registration is not possible.
– until March 10, 2024 it is possible to transfer your starting number, you can change by receiving the mutation link in your confirmation of receipt.

Article 15
The organization has the right to remove participants from the course, if in its opinion this is necessary for the health of the participant and / or the smooth running of the program. Half of the course can serve as a benchmark for this policy decision. If a participant concerned refuses to voluntarily leave the competition, the starting number will be taken and / or noted and the organization relieves itself of its duty of care and the participant is fully responsible.

Article 16
The organization has the right to cancel the event in whole or in part, before or during the course if this is necessary to guarantee the safety of people and property. Calamities elsewhere and / or force majeure could also lead to cancellation.

Article 17
In the event of cancellation due to force majeure, no new date will be set in the current year; the next edition will in principle take place a year later. The organization cannot be held responsible for costs incurred, personal or business, in the event of cancellation of the course. There is no refund of registration fees for individual participants and company teams

Article 18
In all cases not covered by these regulations, the organization decides.
