On Saturday evening, 20 March 2027, Amstelveen transforms into one big running celebration. The Zorg en Zekerheid 5KM Night Run is an exciting evening run where sport, music, lights, and entertainment come together to create a truly unique experience.

At 8:00 PM, the starting signal sounds and you’ll run through beautifully illuminated streets, surrounded by live entertainment, music, and enthusiastic spectators. Whether you’re chasing a personal best, running with friends, or simply enjoying the atmosphere, the Night Run is open to everyone.

And the fun doesn’t stop at the finish line. After crossing the finish, you can celebrate your achievement together with fellow runners, friends, and supporters during the lively after-run gathering in the finish area.

START

  • Saturday 20 March 2027
  • 20:00 start 5k fast runners (<0:20) (subject to change)
  • 20:30 start fun waves (subject to change)
  • The time limit for the 5K fun waves is 1 hour

The 5K Night Run starts at 20:00 with the fastest runners. This start wave is for participants who expect to finish the 5K within 20 minutes.

From 20:30, the fun waves will start. This helps us keep the start area organized, create more space on the course and make the experience even more enjoyable for all participants.

Please note: there are no toilets in the start waves. Make sure to use the toilets in the Runners’ Village before heading to the start area.

BAG DROP

Item deposit for the KPMG Lentemarathon will take place in tents at the Stadshart. No clothing can be left in the starting area. The item deposit is open from 18:30 to 22:00.

Along the course you will find a number of sponge and care posts. Toilets and medical posts are also available at the care posts.

Finish: Water + Fruit 

It is not possible for participants to have food delivered via the organisation to the care posts. Our sports drink partner is Powerbar.
