From March 1 through May 1, 2026, the A9 exit 5 towards Stadshart Amstelveen will be temporarily closed due to highway works and the installation of sound barriers. Traffic that would normally use this exit to reach the city center will be diverted via exit 4 (Ouderkerk aan de Amstel), which may result in additional travel time.
